A certified wellness practitioner passionate about making the world a healthier, happier place through coaching, wellness workshops and education.
I live in Washington, DC and I am wild about God, people, food and laughter. I spend my free time teaching and practicing Pilates, creating and cooking new recipes, hanging out with friends and family, strolling through the city and reading a good book in the park.
I practice wellness coaching based on the training program developed by the Mayo Clinic. The idea is that each person is has a unique food and lifestyle need and therefore an individualized plan is needed to achieve a healthy lifestyle. In addition to meal planning, I work with clients on stress management, exercise, work life balance, fatigue, relationships, lifestyle and diet changes (including transitioning to a plant based lifestyle), breaking habits such as smoking, overeating or toxic patterns and living naturally (without toxins in the home).
Healthy living should be simple and enjoyable.
It is my hope that everyone learns how to live life in motion. Life is meant to be enjoyed and by truly understanding what makes us feel good, we are then able to spend more time in a state of happiness and contentment being free to do what we love.
"Healthy living is less about weight and more about mental frame of mind. Condition the mind and the man will follow."
